Children help line numbers

Ebaalnidan is a fully online Complaint Management System for lodging complaints related to any violation of child rights under the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights (CPCR) Act, 2005, with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). The complainant is informed about the action being taken on his/her complaint through the email/SMS and also can view the latest status of complaint by accessing the eBaalnidan. Identity of complainant is kept confidential.

POCSO e-box is an easy and direct reporting system for lodging a complaint of child sexual abuse under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO), Act, 2012 with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). Identity of complainant is kept confidential.

9311551393 - DCPCR Helpline

The Commission has instituted a child helpline service with helpline No. (9311551393) for responding to distress calls, addressing queries with respect to entitlements and rights of the children such as scholarships, EWS/DG quota, government school admissions, Anganwadi nutritional supplements distribution, immunisation, and for registering online complaints or tracking their status, amongst other functions.
The Helpline is functional from 9:30 AM to 11 PM on all days of the week. In case the call is received on the helpline after the working hours, then the helpline team reverts back on the missed call on the next day.
During Covid-19 Pandemic, this helpline also serves as SOS Helpline for relief for children & their families. The Delhi Commission For Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), Government of Delhi website states that they shall try to resolve the issue in less than 24 hours.

1098 – CHILDLINE HELPLINE

CHILDLINE is a toll-free 24/7 all year operating helpline for all children in need of help and protection. It is a platform bringing together the Ministry for Women & Child Development, Government of India, working in Partnership with State Governments, NGOs, International Organizations, the Corporate Sector, Concerned Individuals and Children.
Both children and adults can call in. They respond to not only the emergency needs of children but also link them to services for their long-term care and rehabilitation.

18001212830 – NCPCR’s SAMVEDNA TELE-COUNSELLING HELPLINE

The NCPCR with India Co-Win Action Network (I-CAN) has created a network of qualified and trained experts/counsellors/psychologists for providing psycho-social support to the children through tele-counselling. Technical support to this initiative has been provided by National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS).
The SAMVEDNA (Sensitizing Action on Mental Health Vulnerability through Emotional Development and Necessary Acceptance), Toll Free Tele counseling -18001212830 (from Monday to Saturday 10 am - 1 pm and 3 pm to 8 pm) will be able to address the stress, anxiety, fear and other issues among children
