Independence Day was celebrated in Nursery on the 14th of August 2015. The little ones were very excited as they came dressed up in their traditional costumes to keep up with the patriotic fervour. A child friendly power point presentation was organised on India, its important leaders and national symbols which was followed by a few patriotic songs which they sang with great enthusiasm. As a part of the celebrations we conducted a little march along the school corridors with a promise to keep our country clean and safe.
The little ones were also treated to yummy Tri-colour sandwiches in class as a part of cooking without fire activity and at the end of the day they were thrilled to carry home the Tri-colour kites which they made in class.
Happy Independence day to one and all !!!
